Zanita M. Clipper primarily practices in the areas of family, civil litigation, criminal defense, and probate law. Before starting her own firm, Ms. Clipper was a staff attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services Michigan (NLSM) and a pro bono attorney with the Detroit Center for Family Advocacy (CFA). At NLSM, Clipper represented veterans in the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) case management program in collections, criminal, driver's license restoration, family, and matters to stabilize clients' income to maintain their housing. While at CFA, Ms. Clipper advocated on behalf of families and caregivers in divorce and custody matters to prevent children from entering foster care. In 2015, Ms. Clipper was a panelist at the National Coalition for Home Veterans annual conference regarding Connected Communities: SSVF and Legal Services.
