Thomas H. Blaske practices in the areas of legal and medical malpractice and plaintiff personal injury litigation. In addition to being a frequent lecturer for ICLE, he teaches trial advocacy skills throughout the country for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Blaske has authored more than 200 books and articles on a variety of legal subjects mostly related to trial law. He is a former chair of the State Bar of Michigan Committee on Medicolegal Problems and spent more than 15 years assisting in writing and grading State Bar exams. Mr. Blaske is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, and the Washtenaw County Bar Association, as well as the American Association for Justice and the Michigan Association for Justice. A member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, he is a fellow of both the Pound Civil Justice Institute and the Michigan State Bar Foundation. Mr. Blaske has been the recipient of numerous awards from various groups, including the Trial Advocacy Foundation of Pennsylvania and the Washtenaw Trial Lawyers Association. He has also been named to a number of lists, including Best Lawyers in America and Michigan Super Lawyers, on which he was the only attorney listed in the category of professional negligence.
