  Amendment of Rule 3.217
  of the Michigan Court Rules
                        
  
       By orders dated December 23, 2003, and January 13, 2004, the Court
  amended Rule 3.217 of the Michigan Court Rules with immediate effect.  Notice
  and an opportunity to comment at the May 27, 2004, public hearing having been
  provided, the amendment of Rule 3.217 is retained.
